Bun Blocks needs no account; signing in is optional. This page says what is stored, where, and why.
Your progress, settings, badges, themes, streaks, purchases and a random player id are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.
You can sign in with your email address or your Google account so your progress is not lost if you lose or change your phone. With email, we send you a one-time code; the address is used to send it and is not stored. We keep a keyed hash of it (so we can find your account the next time you sign in) and a shortened form such as "ad***@gmail.com" to show you which account you are using. With Google, we keep Google's number for your account and the same shortened form of its email. We never receive your Google password.
While you are signed in, a copy of your game progress is kept on our server with your random player id: journey stars, best scores, statistics, badges, streaks, coins and recent daily results. Signing out leaves that copy in your account and clears it from the device. To delete your account and its saved progress, contact us (below).
If you post a score, our server stores your chosen nickname, your random player id, the score and the list of moves (used to check the score is genuine). Use a nickname that is not your real name.
Only if you say yes when asked, or turn it on in Settings. We then count things like which modes are played, using a random id, the day you first played and, if you arrived through a link, a short source tag. No name, no account, no advertising identifier. Turn it off in Settings and the id is deleted from your device.
Payments are handled by Paystack. We never see your card details. We keep the item bought, the payment reference and your random player id so the purchase can be restored. Paystack receives a placeholder email address unless you give one. Purchases only affect looks or remove ads between games, never the rules or scoring.
The game may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads. You can learn more and manage ad personalisation at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and adssettings.google.com. Owners of "No interruptions" see no ads between games.
The game is not directed at children under 13.
